{"id":386,"date":"2022-02-25T14:07:15","date_gmt":"2022-02-25T13:07:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.souillacenjazz.fr\/new\/?p=386"},"modified":"2023-08-23T17:36:53","modified_gmt":"2023-08-23T15:36:53","slug":"thomas-de-pourquery-supersonic-back-to-the-moon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.souillacenjazz.fr\/new\/thomas-de-pourquery-supersonic-back-to-the-moon\/","title":{"rendered":"Thomas de Pourquery &#8211; Supersonic\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Thomas de Pourquery<\/strong> et son Supersonic en seront \u00e0 leur 3e passage \u00e0 Souillac apr\u00e8s 2015 programme \u00abPlay Sun Ra\u00bb et 2018 pour \u00abSons of Love\u00bb, \u00e0 chaque fois ils ont laiss\u00e9 le public sid\u00e9r\u00e9 par leur inventivit\u00e9, leur originalit\u00e9, leur pr\u00e9sence sonore et sc\u00e9nique (on notera leur charisme et notamment celui affirm\u00e9 et naturel de Thomas de Pourquery accompagn\u00e9 d\u2019une g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 sans limite). Le groupe r\u00e9uni s\u2018est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 d\u2019abord autour de la musique de Sun Ra et de son \u00abafrofuturisme\u00bb pour rapidement \u00e9voluer et enrichir consid\u00e9rablement son univers sonore avec des arrangements et des compositions tr\u00e8s \u00e9labor\u00e9s personnels de son leader. Supersonic (nom d\u2019une composition de Sun Ra) est une vraie dream team constitu\u00e9e de musiciens consid\u00e9r\u00e9s chacun comme une pointure instrumentale et musicale dans son domaine (les voir r\u00e9unis est un alignement astral rare). Leur participation (malgr\u00e9 des individualit\u00e9s tr\u00e8s marqu\u00e9es) \u00e0 un projet collectif unique et f\u00e9d\u00e9rateur produit une musique intense, po\u00e9tique, avec des passages d\u2019une douceur onirique et poignante, structur\u00e9e mais pourtant d\u2019une libert\u00e9 folle dans des improvisations collectives surprenantes qui d\u00e9gage une puissance rare. Le projet \u00abPlay Sun Ra\u00bb fut le d\u00e9collage impressionnant de la fus\u00e9e, \u00abSons of Love\u00bb un sommet musical acclam\u00e9 partout. Pour \u00abBack To The Moon\u00bb la fus\u00e9e a chang\u00e9 d\u2019orbite pour aller explorer non seulement la lune mais au-del\u00e0, d\u2019autres contr\u00e9es lointaines de notre galaxie tout en conservant ses impulsions initiales. On notera les lignes de chants de plus en plus fr\u00e9quentes de Thomas de Pourquery dans un registre vocal souvent en \u00abvoix de t\u00eate ou voix de fausset\u00bb jusque l\u00e0 assez peu usit\u00e9 dans le domaine du jazz (plut\u00f4t connu dans la pop ou bien avant dans la musique ancienne) qui contribuent fortement aux effluves oniriques et cosmiques qui se d\u00e9gage de mani\u00e8re obsessionnelle de cette musique qui s\u2019est appropri\u00e9e, dans l\u2019esprit d\u2019un Miles Davis, Sun Ra, les formes du jazz, de pop et de rock progressif et bien d\u2019autres musiques. Sun Ra a enfin trouv\u00e9 des vrais h\u00e9ritiers ! Mais dans l\u2019esprit pas dans la lettre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-blockspare-shape-divider alignfull blockspare-d09bb2b2-1528-4\"><style>.blockspare-d09bb2b2-1528-4
